Vertical hydraulic compacting machine model MG5 T.L. for compacting drums and various types of
containers, both metallic and plastic, especially used for turning paint, oil and chemical drums into
so-called pizzas.
The MG 5 T.L. compacting machine features a fully closed compacting chamber and is loaded though
a front door. The electrical panel is located on the side with built-in command buttons.
The plate is square to completely cover the base of the chamber and is laterally guided.
The compacting cycle (up and down phases of the compactor) may be either automatic
button-operated or semi-automatic lever operated.
Manual removal of crushed pizzas.
The compacting machine is fitted with channels and gutters to collect any liquids that may be left in
the drums or filters to then channel them into the supplied tank.
The door is safe and simple to close thanks to its guide-system.
The compacting machine can be positioned against a wall or in a corner.
The compacting machine is made be fastened to the ground.
The compacting machine is epoxy varnished. The standard compacting machine colour is RAL 7016
grey , moving parts and protections are RAL 1007 yellow. The colours can be changed according to
the RAL table .
The compacting machine is tested at the Ausonia works prior to being shipped. The MG5 T.L. is
shipped vertically, fully loaded with oil and with circuit bled. Upon receiving the unit just replace
the non-bleeder cap with the supplied bleeder cap, check the direction of rotation of the electric
motor (only in the 380V versions) and the machine is ready for use. The user and maintenance
manual is issued with the compacting machine, it must be read by any operator prior to use, and
shows every detail concerning the various operations and proper use of the machinery.
